(4) I am looking for any
information on the family connection of a William Bousfield who was hanged
at Newgate Prison in London, England on March 31, 1856 after a trial at
Old Bailey. He had thrown himself on the fire in the condemned room (cell)
and burned his hands and face quite badly a few days earlier. On March
31, 1856 they were still very swollen when he was finally led out for execution.
He was hanged for the murder of his wife and three children.
