Looking For......................
Bousfield Information

This page will be updated as often as possible with inquiries into the Bousfield family that I have collected. They have come from those who have contacted me over the last while as well as other connections that I am seeking.
Your help will be greatly appreciated by all in the end.
Thanks, Ron G. Bousfield

Looking For:

(1)     Frederick Henry Bousfield, a WW I hero having won the Military Cross and the French Croix deGuirre for gallantry.  He ran away from home to sign up, served in the Durham Light Infantry and survived the war.  He lived in London at the time of the war. Frederick Henry Bousfield (1887 - 1937) born in Hammersmith, London. He is buried in Hammersmith cemetery. However, he did have 3 children by an Edith Jordan (they were not married!).

(2)    I am interested in getting back in contact with a Rodrigo Bousfield from Brazil that contacted me back in September of 1999. His email address was been producing bounce backs for some time now.

(3)    I am always looking for information toward the linking up of  my direct line (included in this web sites info) and the other main lines at Bowes and St. Giles churches in England. These families connection has eluded me for many years.

(4)    I am looking for any information on the family connection of a William Bousfield who was hanged at Newgate Prison in London, England on March 31, 1856 after a trial at Old Bailey. He had thrown himself on the fire in the condemned room (cell) and burned his hands and face quite badly a few days earlier. On March 31, 1856 they were still very swollen when he was finally led out for execution. He was hanged for the murder of his wife and three children.

(5)    Is anyone aware of the origin of Bousfield Road in London, England. (by the way there is a Bousfield Cres. and a Bousfield Lane here in Ontario, one in Milton and one in Jarvis)
